| Weathersfield Township also maintains four Township cemeteries: County Line, Ohltown, Welsh Hill, and Kerr. Kerr Cemetery is the only one that is still accepting burials. The Township has recently acquired an additional 14 acres and a building to be used as a future cemetery offices. The Sexton Don Tenney can be reached at (330) 652-6326 for cemetery information.

Non-Residents using graves of a Township Resident will pay a surcharge of $200.00 for the use of the grave. (This is equal to the cost of a non-resident grave).
(All non-residents who purchased graves after January 1, 1982, will pay the surcharge for the grave if they did not purchase the grave as a non-resident. Non-resident surcharges apply only to adult graves.)
WEATHERSFIELD TOWNSHIP
CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS
1. All monuments will be set at the head of graves. Each monument will be read from the foot of the grave to the head. Only the family name is allowed on the back side of the monument.
2. Any marker at the foot of the grave has to be grass level.
3. The foundations of all monuments, at a required fee, will be put in by the caretaker of the cemetery.
4. Flowers may be planted up to 12 inches in front of any monument.
5. No flowers are permitted on the backside of any monument or marker.
6. Fences are not permitted.
7. No trees, shrubs or ornamental plants. It shall be the right of the Township Trustees and/or their designees to enter the said lot and remove the said trees, shrubs, and plants.
8. Wooden burial vaults or plastic combination burial vaults are not permitted.
9. No stones, gravel, etc. around grave site.
10. All grounds will be cleared starting the 1st of April each year.
11. Monuments must consist of two (2) pieces only. Each piece can weigh no more than 1000 lbs. each.
12. Hanging baskets and/or plants cannot be displayed on any metal fixture or Shepard's hok on any portion of the gravesite.
13. Artificial flowers cannot be displayed except when placed in a vase that is mounted or secured onto the base of the monument.
14. Small items (statues) cannot be placed anywhere on the grave site (includes the flower bed area) unless they are mounted or secured onto the base of the monument.
15. Balloons are not permitted at anytime on any portion of the monument or gravesite.
16. All holiday decorations will be removed 10 days after the holiday.
